John has been struggling with depression and bitterness for years since his parents death. He reunites with his sister Sarah, who wants to help him. John runs into trouble with Sarah's ex-boyfriend Mitch, which eventually leaves Sarah in a life-threatening condition. John then pursues Mitch to take revenge, but along the way he meets a mysterious vagabond who tries to convince him that fighting isn't the answer.
APT Media's first full-length feature film, To Be a Man was entirely produced by a group of high school and college film students. It was written and directed by Ryan Hall and stars Josh Cisewski, Thaxton Gamache, Rachel Hall, and Tom Ringdal.
